Allow me to preface this profile with the following – if you absolutely must take a player with a five-figure salary this week, play the odds and go with Brian Harman. The 2014 John Deere Classic champion, Harman has made three of six career cuts at TPC Deere Run, but they all went for top-25 results.

This year, Harman has four top-tens in his last eight TOUR starts, including his win at the Wells Fargo Championship, and the second-place tie at the U.S. Open. What he lacks in iron play, he’s more than making up for with the putter in his hands.

Ranked 30th in adjusted scoring, Harman is 22nd in birdie average, just under four per round. He’s also eighth on Tour in strokes gained – putting, and 11th in one-putt percentage. If he can just find a way to get the ball on the greens this week in the Quad Cities, Harman will pay off in a big way. If you can afford him, sign him up and watch the birdies fly.
