In any given week on DraftKings, I look for one premium player to target. These are typically the superstars, who in many weeks will bring more name value than actual DFS value. rankings, you know that I don’t necessarily love him as a pure championship contender. However, you can’t deny the talent he brings to the table. With seven top-ten finishes and a win in 18 starts, Rahm is a lock for PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year honors.

Rahm’s game – in the physical sense, at least – looks tailor made for Quail Hollow. He’s long, averaging just under 307 yards off the tee with the driver. He’s more than capable of escaping trouble lies, ranked 30th in greens in regulation and sixth in proximity from the rough. Rahm is also eighth in par-breakers and 11th in bounce-back percentage.

Of course, you have to deal with the potential that Rahm may have a blow-up along the way. He’s an incredibly intense competitor, and that’s boiled over at times when he’s been struggling. Still, for the “sixth man” in this lineup, you simply can’t pass up on the upside. You can thank me if we see Rahm hoisting the Wanamaker on Sunday.
