Paul Dunne is having a strong season and his top-10 finish last week at the Paul Lawrie Match Play is the best signal yet that his maiden European Tour victory is on the horizon.

While the young Irishman continues to struggle with directional control in his tee-to-green game, his work on the putting surface will get him into contention and keep him there. He also has a very nice history with the Himmerland track – a top-10 at the 2016 Made in Denmark as a EuroTour rookie probably wasn’t an accident. Dunne has the kind of game that’s well suited to links golf and he took immediately to the northern Jutland venue.

Like Soderberg, I think Dunne is underpriced and a tremendous value pick this week. Look for him to finish high. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him challenging Thomas Pieters when it comes to moving day and the oddsmakers seem to be agreeing with me.

Dunne’s not quite as popular a fantasy golf pick as Nacho Elvira, who has an equivalent PlayOn salary but I think Dunne’s a strong candidate to hoist the trophy this week.
