Dylan Frittelli, the 27-year-old South African rising star on the European Tour, has started to dip his toes into the PGA TOUR, and this week he’ll have some extra motivation ahead of his Masters debut. Last month, he opened his American slate with a T11 finish at the Honda Classic. He’s stumbled a bit over his last two starts in WGC events – T55 in Mexico, and eliminated in group play at the Match Play – but his overall resume this year speaks for itself.

In seven European Tour starts so far in 2017-18, Frittelli has racked up six top-20 finishes, including a win at December’s AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. Before heading stateside, Frittelli also finished tied for sixth in Dubai, and tied for fifth at the Maybank Championship. Hard to argue with those results.

At just $7,400 on DraftKings, Frittelli offers a ton of upside at a relatively low price point. Considering the top-heavy nature of this week’s field, that value is impossible to overlook. His power off the tee (averaging over 310 yards per the European Tour) and sharp iron game (hitting about 72% of greens in regulation) should fit the Augusta-esque Houston track very well.

This will be a low-risk test to find out just how real Frittelli’s game can be when tested against a major-worthy field.
