The Wells Fargo Championship boasts a traditionally strong field, and with Tiger Woods in the field it’s only getting bigger. Who will top the Power Rankings in the tournament’s return to Quail Hollow?
Less than nine months after Justin Thomas hoisted the Wanamaker Trophy at the PGA Championship, golf’s best will be back at Quail Hollow this week for the Wells Fargo Championship.

Quail Hollow measures out to over 7,600 yards and is a par 71. New Bermuda give this course the ability to play even firmer and faster than before. Changes to several holes have made players and caddies rip pages out of previous yardage books.
No matter the changes, a similar formula seems best to win now as it did then.
Quail Hollow is a course that makes you hit just about every club in your bag. Taking advantage of the par-5s are important, especially given the toughness of the final three holes, aka the “Green Mile.”
Finding the fairway is crucial if you’re short off the tee, though longer hitters have escape routes if they miss the mark.
The long range weather forecast calls for warm, dry weather, though it’s always advised to check back in on these things on Wednesday.
