The PLAYERS Championship winner is back in action after a well-deserved week away. He’ll look to pick up at Colonial right where he left off at TPC Sawgrass, and at a salary of just $10,200 on DraftKings, he’s arguably the best value pick in the entire field.

If you’ve read any of my fantasy work before, you know I’m typically cautious when salaries get into the five-figure range. I like a more balanced approach, but frankly, this fit is too good to pass up when you look at what Simpson has done this year.

In 14 events, Simpson has missed just one cut, and that came nearly four months ago, at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He heads to Colonial on the heels of four straight top-25 finishes, and nine overall. That’s as much momentum as you can ask for.

Simpson isn’t the biggest hitter on TOUR, averaging just under 290 yards off the tee. That won’t be a hindrance this week at Colonial, where precision approaches and solid putting almost always take precedence. That’s where Webb shines, especially in 2018. The Wake Forest alum is currently fifth on TOUR in strokes gained putting, and third in adjusted scoring.

With plenty of experience at Colonial under his belt, including back-to-back top-five finishes, Simpson is absolutely deserving of the prime spot in your DraftKings lineup.
