I know, I know – Tony Finau isn’t flying under anybody’s radar this week. But I absolutely love his potential production, and even at $9,800, he’s only got the fifth-highest salary on DraftKings this week. That’s value however you look at it.

Overall, Finau is simply becoming one of the steadiest, strongest competitors on the PGA TOUR. He’s currently 10th in the FedEx Cup race despite not having a victory (yet), he’s finished in the top ten in all three majors so far this year, and he’s got 14 top-25 finishes in 21 starts.

One of Finau’s biggest advantages this week will be his power off the tee. His driving average of 317 yards is third on TOUR. Of course, that also gives him significantly shorter clubs on approach than most of his competitors.

Because of that, Finau is also 23rd in greens in regulation percentage and 19th in birdie average. Throw in par-5 scoring, where Finau is second on TOUR, and he’ll have a significant advantage coming down the stretch on Sunday.

DraftKings gives big boosts for birdies and top finishes, and both of those are areas in which Finau shines. He’s not just my top value pick, but a guy I’m relying on to anchor several of my lineups across the board. Plug him in confidently as a No. 1 this week, and you’ll reap the rewards.
