Wyndham Championship: Power ranking the Top 10 at Sedgefield
Si Woo Kim picked up his first PGA Tour win as a 21-year-old in 2016 when he went 21-deep to set what was then the tournament record (more on that later).
Though he lost ownership of the 72-hole record, his second-round 60 in 2016 still stands as the course record. His five-shot win came on the strength of great ball striking.
Kim hit 83.3 percent of his greens and averaged 306.9 yards off the tee while hitting 73.2 percent fairways.
The young South Korean comes to Greensboro off of a missed cut at the PGA Championship, though he had a T29 at the Canadian Open and a T10 at the WGC-Bridgestone in his two prior starts.
Kim is a streaky player who also did a lot of damage early in 2018 when he advanced to the knockout stage at the WGC-Match Play and was solo second at the RBC Heritage.
Kim has a good enough short game (18th in strokes gained around the green) to circumvent most issues Sedgefield will throw at him.
This will be his second start at Sedgefield.
