Ryan Fox is not only the highest ranked player in the Race to Dubai standings in this week’s field, but he’s also the highest ranked without a win this season.

The Kiwi was twice a winner on the Challenge Tour and has 10 top-10s in his two seasons on the European Tour in 2017 and 2018.

Fox lost in a playoff to the then red hot Russell Knox at the Irish Open and was three shots adrift for a T3 early this year at the Maybank Championship.

He comes to the KLM Open seeking his 13rd made cut in a row. Only one in that span was outside the top 50 and four were 12th or better. Last week netted a T30 at the European Masters.

Fox can pound the ball (fifth in distance)  and is sixth in strokes gained tee to green. He’s finding his stride around the greens (58th strokes gained) but has been held back by his putter which ranks 228th in strokes gained.

With light winds, Fox will at least hit a lot of greens. Enough chances and he could roll in enough to hoist his first trophy.
