Golf Tips: Understanding your Surroundings When Chipping
Everyone has hit a bad shot around the green, and we’re going to try and eliminate that with today’s golf tips. Taking the time to look at your surroundings, and thinking of the shot you want to play around the green.
Not all golf tips are designed the same. Today, we want to spend a little bit of time analyzing the mental side of it, and how to approach some different shots.
When you are playing a shot from the fairway, or even a tee shot, there isn’t a lot of thought that goes into it. How far away am i? Grab appropriate club, and swing. Not a lot of thinking. It’s more the Brooks Koepka approach here, it comes down to one thing, club up or club down.

When you get near the green, most of the time, this isn’t going to work. There are a load of scenarios that you could find yourself in. Not all of them can be treated the same way if you want to succeed.

Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case. In today’s golf tips, we look into some of the things you can run into around the green. We look at how to deal with them, how to avoid them, and how to improve your shot selection, which should improve your score as well.
