The Memorial Tournament: Power ranking the top ten golfers at Muirfield Village
It should come as no surprise that the PGA Tour’s Mr. Consistent has a good track record at the Memorial.
Kuchar was the 2013 champion and has five top-fives in 13 starts at Muirfield Village. He’s missed the cut just once back in 2013 and hasn’t otherwise finished worse than T32.
The last trip to Dublin in 2018 netted a T13 (71-68-72-67) where he hit 68.06% GIR and 76.79% fairways.

"“I think this course demands you to do everything well,” Kuchar said in 2014. “These greens seem to get every bit as fast as Augusta National’s. You have to be on your game. And I think when greens are fast, it’s not so much a premium on your putting, but your iron shots is a real premium and positioning your iron shots.”"
Kuchar is a great iron player and it’s showing this season with his sixth rank in strokes gained approach. He’s eight in overall strokes gained and is 75th or better in all categories, including 12th tee to green.
Kuchar is going to keep it in the short grass this week and will be able to attack. Many peg him as a conservative player, but he’s ninth on Tour in birdie average.
He’s 19th in approach from 175-200 and 12th in proximity from the rough. If he were to miss a green, he’s 21st in scrambling.
Kuchar won the Sony Open and has two runner ups at the WGC Match Play and RBC Heritage. He hasn’t missed a cut since the 2018 PGA Championship and is coming off a T8 at the 2019 PGA.
