Mayakoba Golf Classic: Top 10 power rankings at El Camaleon
Keegan Bradley doesn’t contend often, but he posts a lot of top-25s and wins at a good clip when he’s in the mix. He can stand out in a relatively weak field at the Mayakoba Golf Classic and take advantage of El Camaleon’s slow greens.
Bradley’s played well at this event, finishing T-8 in 2015 (67-71-68-66) and T-15 in 2016 (72-67-67-66) in his two appearances.
In somewhat of a boom or bust 2019, he finished T-2 at the Travelers, T-16 at the Players and T-10 at the WGC-Mexico. He won the 2018 BMW Championship.
The 33-year-old has kept busy this fall with five starts already in the 2019-2020 season. He played well against stronger fields in Asia with a T-13 at the Zozo Championship and T-24 at the WGC-HSBC Champions last month.
Bradley mixes length (61st, 298.5) and accuracy (50th, 66.35%) pretty well per 2018-2019 stats. That feeds into the strength of his game with irons. He was 19th in strokes gained approach (.567).
He was 26th in proximity from the fairways and should be able to hold more of them on a wet golf course like we’re expected to have.
Bradley has made five of his last seven cuts.
