No. 14 Bubba Watson

Bubba Watson is very much a horse for the course type of player. He brings in poor form with no top-25s in his last five starts and just one in the last 12. With that said, he comes to a course where he won in 2015 and finished T-6 in 2016. If he’s not too wayward off the tee, he can attack all day on this course.

No. 13 Henrik Stenson

Stenson’s got a good track record at Albany with a solo second in 2016 and fourth in 2018. The 43-year-old is the oldest player in the field and hasn’t won worldwide since 2017. He has no top-10s in his last five starts but did post a solid T-20 at the WGC-HSBC Champions.

No. 12 Gary Woodland

Gary Woodland’s career changed with a win at the 2019 US Open, but it produced a slump in the immediate aftermath. He’s back to playing some better golf with two top-fives this fall. This is his second Hero start after finishing T-8 last year. His prowess off the tee could lead to better results this year.

No. 11 Patrick Reed

You know Captain America’s going to try to summon his best golf in advance of representing the red, white and blue next week. Reed has solid results at Albany with a solo second in 2015 and a T-5 in 2017 as part of four appearances. Six top-30 finishes in a row coming in make me fear I’ve shorted Reed this week, but we’ll see.
