This week, the PGA Tour travels to California for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Let’s take a look at this event from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I get into my fantasy golf and Draftkings player selections let’s take a look at the unique format for this week’s tournament.

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be played on three different golf courses over a four day period. Unlike most PGA Tour events that have a cut after two rounds, the cut for this week’s tournament will take place after the completion of the third round on Saturday.

This tournament will be contested on the following three golf courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, and Monterrey Peninsula. All golfers in the field will play each course in the first three rounds. Upon completion of the third round, a cut will occur. The top 65 players and ties will move on to play the final round on Sunday. The final round will be played on the Pebble Beach course.

It should be noted that this week’s field is rather weak with regard to talent. More specifically, only three of the top 20 golfers in the current official world golf rankings are in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field. Keep that in mind as you compose lineups for your Draftkings contests this week.

Let’s shift our focus to what I love doing the most! Here is my fantasy golf/DraftKings player picks for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Brandt Snedeker $10,100

Snedeker certainly appears to love playing golf at Pebble Beach! Why do I say that? Well, his previous results at this event are simply outstanding. Snedeker has won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am two times previously in 2013 and 2015. In addition to those two wins, he finished fourth at this event in 2017.

Snedeker also arrives at this event in decent form. He finished 17th at the Safeway Open in September, finished 12th at the Sony Open in Hawaii, and finished third at the Farmers Insurance Open in January.

Brandt also checks the box for me when it comes to key statistics. Snedeker is currently ranked 12th in strokes gained putting (.794) and 15th in strokes gained around the green (.553) on the PGA Tour.

Russell Knox $8,600

He arrives at this event on the heels of two consecutive top 21 finishes, including a 16th place result at last week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open. Additionally, he finished 14th at the 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Tom Hoge $7,900

Hoge has three top 12 finishes in his last four events on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the Farmers Insurance Open in January.

Scott Piercy $7,800

Piercy fits the narrative of a course horse. Piercy has two consecutive top 20 finishes at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Additionally, he finished sixth at last week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Scott Stallings $7,600

Stallings has an outstanding previous record at this week’s event. More specifically, Scott has three consecutive top 14 finishes at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, including a third-place finish in last year’s tournament.

Matthew NeSmith $7,100

He currently is ranked 34th in GIR (greens in regulation-72.92%) on the PGA Tour. NeSmith also finished 17th at The American Express last month.
