Each year, Rickie Fowler honors the memory of Arnold Palmer by wearing custom gear to that year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Once again, Rickie Fowler will be donning some custom gear and kicks at the Arnold Palmer Invitational this year. He has done so for the last few years, honoring the King as he steps onto the course.

Fowler is well known for his bright colors and seeing him dressed and sporting custom gear should come as a surprise to no one. The fact that he is able to honor one of the greatest of all-time makes it even more impactful.

It isn’t just his shoes that will be created with an Arnold Palmer drawn inspiration, but that is where we are going to start. Your shoe game is important on the course, and Fowler will have a couple of different ones going throughout the week.

More from Pro Golf Now

First off are the IGNITE PROADAPT PALMER shoes, which remember Arnold Palmer’s love of aviation. They actually have N1AP on the side, which was the tail number of Palmer’s favorite plane, a Cessna 750 Citation X. You can find them online and get your own pair if you don’t mind the price.

If you haven’t already bought the next pair, you are out of luck, as they have already sold out. You’ll need to keep an eye on the Cobra store to see if they come back in stock. I can see why they sold out, as the price is fair, and they are FIRE. The Limited Edition IGNITE NXT ARNIE CAMO golf shoes have a nice red, yellow, white, and green camo combo along with the outsole and bottom, which can be matched by the bag that Fowler will be sporting this week.

The bag isn’t out yet (it comes out the afternoon of March 4th), but is a green base, with the same camo combo along the pockets on the bag. OH! It’s important to note that it is a stand bag as well, which is a nice change to see.

If you are more of a hat person, you have plenty of options here. It looks like there are a total of four versions of new headwear created by Fowler for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, with some of them sporting different versions of the same hat.

We start off with the API CAMO P cap. This snapback comes in five different versions, all with camo siding, a large P on the front, and an umbrella planted in the middle. One of the five, which we will hopefully see on Sunday, is a purple version envisioned from International Women’s Day, which takes place Sunday, March 8th.

Next is the N1AP ROPE cap, for those who are a fan of the rope across the base of the brim look. This one is less loud than the Camo cap but makes even more clear the honoring of Arnold Palmer. Not only does it have N1AP crossing diagonally across the cap, but it features the same P/umbrella as the camo, but encircling it with Puma and Arnold Palmer. This one comes in baby blue, white, and pink.

We finish off with a nice script hat sporting Puma Golf in small letters, sitting atop Bay Hill in large cursive. The hat only comes in white, with Puma in green and Bay Hill in pink. In the place of Bay Hill, you can get a different version that says “Latrobe”, and this one comes with the colors swapper, as Puma Golf is in pink, and Latrobe is in green.

It’s great that Fowler has been doing this for a few years now, and even better that all of these can be bought online… as long as you are fast enough to get there before they sell out. Make sure to watch each day for Rickie Fowler this week, so you can see exactly what gear he is repping each day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
