Tom Brady’s ripped pants and other embarrassing moments

During the Match: Champions for Charity, Tom Brady had an unfortunate and embarrassing incident.

We’ve all done something embarrassing in our lives. Chances are, none of us have had something happen on as big a stage as Tom Brady at the Match: Champions for Charity when he ripped his pants. All in all, it was a fun event.

He showed that even when embarrassing things happen on the course we can get past them. If a player on an enormous golf stage can do it, so can we.

Tom Brady has had his embarrassing moment… we all have.

I’ve seen my fair share of embarrassing moments from people on the course, both those that I am friends with and from people that I don’t know.

Personally, I’ve had a couple of them happen to me. The first and more embarrassing one was one of the first times I ever went out golfing. I didn’t even have any golf shoes yet. I walked down towards a pong to get my ball, which was sitting on the edge, and wasn’t careful enough.

SPLASH! In. I. Went. That’s right. I fell in a pond.

The second one isn’t quite as bad, but it’s still up there. It was pretty wet out, and we only had a couple of holes left. I went to swing my three-wood off of the tee… did I mention it was wet out? It went flying into the bushes, and I spent a good five minutes looking for it.

I’ve seen blades off of the tee fly at people. Same with snap hooks in front of the clubhouse and slices across multiple fairways. I’ve seen skulls across the green at other tee boxes.

I had a buddy get mad once because he chunked a chip shot. Something that he rarely does. He chucked his club at the cart. No harm done. He picks it up, chunks another one, and whips it hard at the cart this time. SNAP! right across the cart, and now he has two wedges.

My old man once pulled his drive so bad, that it bounced off of the red tees in front of us, shooting straight up in the air, only to land next to the other red rock. He hit it hard enough that it left red paint on his ball.

We’ve all had something embarrassing happen to us. Again, maybe not as bad as Tom Brady, but still to some extent. What about you? Let us know what your most embarrassing moment is.
