Looking for sleeper and undervalued Draftkings selections for this weeks World Golf Championship event? Check my fantasy golf selections out here!

Last week was a rough one for my fantasy golf selections. Carlos Ortiz withdrew shortly after my article was published, and only two of my selections made the cut. However, if you played Cameron Tringale, and the rest of your team was decent, you probably won some money.

This week the PGA Tour heads to Tennessee for the WGC-FedEx St Jude.

As always, check out Hans Geevers’ full lineup picks each and every week. Not only can you see his selections, but you can see his course breakdown and his key stats he’s looking at this week. You will also find one of his selections will be featured on my list.

As always in this article, you will only find players under the Draftkings average salary of $8,333. In a field that features nearly all of the world’s top players, there is some extreme value well under the average price. Remember there is no cut this week, so all players will play all four rounds.

Along with the stats Hans will be looking at, I will focus on ball striking, shots gained off the tee, driving accuracy, and bogey avoidance. Here are my selections:

Paul Casey – $7,800

Casey sets up as a great play this week. Although people might be a little gun-shy to play Casey after back-to-back missed cuts, I think this would be a great week to select him.

Casey is tied for first in ball striking on the PGA Tour, a key stat this week. Along with that, Casey is 12th in greens in regulation percentage with 71.30%. Pairing that with sixth in strokes gained on approach, ninth in strokes gained off the tee, and 46th in Par 4 efficiency 450-500 yards, all the stats lineup this week for Casey.

The question with Casey is the putter. He ranks 210th in strokes gained putting this season. However, if he can do anything on the greens he’s got a chance to win the event this week.

Corey Conners – $7,300

Rostered on my team this week, and my favorite selection on this list is Corey Conners. Conners is second on the PGA Tour in greens hit in regulation percentage with 73.08%. He also sits tied for fourth in ball striking, 13th in strokes gained approach, 16th in strokes gained off the tee, 35th in Par 4 efficiency 450-500 yards, and 41st in driving accuracy.

However, just like Casey, he can’t putt. Corey is 187th in strokes gained putting this season.

The way I look at it, Conners and Casey matchup extremely similar this week. They both check a lot of boxes in the key stat department, but Conners is $500 cheaper. I would love to have Casey in my lineup as well, but I really really love Conners this week.

Adam Hadwin – $7,200

It is hard not to love Hadwin every week. For not being a big name player, Hadwin might be the most consistent player on the tour. With 12/13 made cuts this season, Hadwin once again is a strong player in Tennessee.

Hadwin once again checks a lot of the key stat boxes. Tied for ninth in Par 4 efficiency 450-500 yards, 29th in strokes gained putting, 42nd in approach, 33rd in greens hit percentage with 69.93%, tied for 26th in ball striking, 32nd in driving accuracy, and 25th in bogey avoidance.

As you can see, Hadwin will most likely play well, but the question will be how low can he get. In his 12 made cuts, he only has three top tens. Hadwin isn’t a guy I think can win the tournament, but he’s also a guy you wont see at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Matt Wallace – $6,700

A selection on Hans’ list, I also like Matt Wallace. Wallace comes in off a fourth place finish at the Memorial, and a 12th place finish at Rocket Mortgage.

Wallace is tied for 33rd on the PGA Tour in birdie or better percentage with 33.33%. He also sits 51st in strokes gained off the tee and 55th in strokes gained putting.

For a player valued under $7,000, those stats solid.

Brendon Todd – $6,600

For $6,600 I believe Brendon Todd is a steal this week. Although Todd isn’t someone I have pegged as a potential winner, he will be in my lineup this week without question.

Todd is a lot like Hadwin for me, he isn’t flashy, but he shows up, plays well, and goes to the next tournament. A big reason I like Todd is he sits third in driving accuracy on tour. You rarely see Brendon in the rough, or taking the Phil Mickelson “scenic route” to the hole.

To go with that, Todd sits 14th in bogey avoidance this season, as well as tied for 44th in strokes gained putting.

Again, I don’t think Todd will be lifting the trophy on Sunday afternoon, but I think it would be hard to find a better value in the $7,000-$6,500 range this week.

Well they there are, my sleepers and undervalued selections of the week. Hopefully some of these players will make their way into your lineups, and win you some money!
