Last week four of my six fantasy golf selections made the cut at an exciting PGA Championship. Harris English was the highlight of my selections, finishing tied for 19th.  This week we look for more value selections as the PGA Tour heads to North Carolina for the final event of the regular season.

As with the final event of the regular season, this is the last chance for players to get into the FedEx Cup playoffs. Just as a refresher, the top 125 make next week’s Northern Trust, the top 70 make the BMW Championship, and the top 30 make the Tour Championship. Many players undervalued this week will have strong pushes for the playoffs, making the right undervalued selections in fantasy golf will be key.

As always, check out Hans Geevers’ full lineup picks that he posts each and every week. You will find two of his selections here on my undervalued list. Hans’ article is also great for reading about the course, and how he believes it will play.

And of course, as always in my articles, I am only looking at players under the average Draftkings salary of $8,333. In doing so, I am trying to bring you value players who can make the cut, and hopefully win you some money.

My key stats this week will be par four efficiency 400-450 yards, birdie or better conversion percentage, driving accuracy, strokes gained on approach, and strokes gained putting. Here are my selections:

Kevin Kisner- $8,300

Just $333 under the average salary this week, Kisner comes in off a top-20 finish at the PGA Championship.

Before the PGA Championship, Kisner finished tied for 25th at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude, and 3rd at the Rocket Mortgage in early July, so his game is in form.

Kis sits 25th in strokes gained putting on the PGA Tour, as well as 35th in driving accuracy hitting 65.50% of fairways this season.

Kisner currently sits 52nd in the FedEx cup standings, safely in the first and second playoff events. However, a solid finish this week could have him knocking on the door of the top 30.

Ryan Moore- $8,100

Ryan Moore comes into the Wyndham Championship coming off back-to-back T12th finishes. One was last week at the Barracuda Championship, and the other was at the 3M Open in mid-July.

Moore’s game also sets up well for this event. Moore is 9th on tour in driving accuracy with 69.01% of fairways hit, 33rd in stroked gained on approach, and tied for 41st in par four efficiency 400-450 yards.

Moore currently sits 91st in the FedEx Cup standings. Although he is safely in the first playoff event, he’s only 21 spots outside of the top 70, the threshold for the BMW Championship.

Charl Schwartzel- $7,400

My first selection in the second-tier of undervalued options, a member of Hans’ list, and the 2011 Masters Champion, Charl Schwartzel.

Charl is coming off a made cut at the PGA Championship, and a tie for 3rd at the 3M Open. He looked great at the 3M open, not only his golf game, but his hat game was on point as well.

Schwartzel is 7th on the tour in birdie or better average with 35.31%. With that, he sits 66th in strokes gained on approach, and 44th in strokes gained putting.

Schwartzel is number 125 in the FedEx Cup standings, aka the last spot in the playoffs. With others sure to make a charge, Charl will need a solid finish just to play next week.

Henrik Norlander- $7,300

Coming in $100 less than Schwartzel, rostered in my lineup, and one of Hans’ selections, is Henrik Norlander.

Norlander hasn’t missed a cut since the Charles Schwab Challenge in early June, and has finished T41, T12, T31, T6, and T23 in the five events since then.

Along with his game being in good form, Norlander is 10th in driving accuracy, hitting 68.98% of fairways this season. With that, he sits 46th in stroked gained on approach.

Norlander is 64th in the FedEx cup standings, holding onto a BMW Championship spot by only 37 points, so Norlander should have some motivation to better his position in the standings.

Pat Perez- $6,900

My first selection in the under $7,000 range is Pat Perez, who hasn’t missed a cut since the RBC Heritage in June. Since then, Perez finished T39 at the Workday, T23 at the 3M Open, and 18th last week at the Barracuda Championship.

Perez checks a lot of boxes in the key stat department. He’s tied for 2nd in par four efficiency 400-450 yards, 48th in stroked gained putting, 57th in strokes gained on approach, and 70th in driving accuracy, hitting 62.82% of fairways.

The majority of the par four’s will play under 450 yards this week, which is a big reason I like Perez. Especially at his price range, with guys like Matthias Schwab and Jhonattan Vegas valued way above Perez.

Perez is currently 74th in the FedEx Cup standings, only four spots outside the BMW Championship cutline. With a very good week this week, Perez will find himself safely in the first and second playoff events.

Wesley Bryan- $6,600

This one is shocking to me. Wesley Bryan at only $6,600 is in my lineup this week, and should be in yours.

It is very rare to find a player in the $6,900-$6,000 range that could win the event, and Wesley is that guy this week. Although he has only played three events this year, he has made all three cuts, finishing T68 at the RBC Heritage, T24 at the Travelers Championship, and T21 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Although Wesley doesn’t appear on the PGA Tour rankings for stats, due to only playing 12 rounds of golf this year, he still checks out fantastically.

In 12 rounds, Wesley has gained a total of 16.825 strokes on approach, an average of 1.402. That is an absolutely incredible number. Justin Thomas leads the entire PGA Tour in strokes gained on approach with an average of 1.125.

With his 16.825 total strokes gained, Wesley is ahead of Branden Grace, Cameron Percy, Christian Bezuidenhout, Nick Watney, and others in total strokes gained on approach. All four of those players are inside the top-30 in strokes gained on approach on the PGA Tour. They have all also played over 30 rounds of golf on tour this year, and Bryan has only played 12.

Bryan has also hit 67.86% of fairways this season. He averages 4.67 birdies per round this season, and has hit just over 73% of greens.

Remember, all of this for a $6,600 golfer. You can’t afford to not have Wesley Bryan in your lineup this week.

Well they there are, my sleepers and undervalued selections of the week. Hopefully some of these players will make their way into your lineups, and win you some money!
