We made it!. Masters week 2020 is finally here. Let’s bet on it.

After 7 grueling months, the Super Bowl of the golf world has arrived to be played at the majestic Augusta National. It will look quite different this year, but that doesn’t mean that the action is going to change. Arguably the most gambled upon event of the golf season, the Masters leaves no shortage of prop bets, head to head, or just straight-up winners. I’m going to take you on a tour of some of my favorite bets for the weekend.

Masters Prop Bets

  • Yes to Hole In One: -200
    • 7 of the last 10 Masters have had a hole in one. This is also just a fun bet to have money on and a good one to parlay with other bets.
  • First Round Leader: Tony Finau +3300
    • Luckily for him, there’s no par 3 contest, so no opportunity to roll his ankle.
  • Top Australian: Adam Scott +200
    • Not a lot of Australians in the field and he has the second-best odds after Jason Day.
  • Top Former Winner: Patrick Reed +330
    • He’s been trending towards a win for a while and has won here before.
  • Top Irish Player: Rory -300
    • Can be used in a parlay or straight up, but I would recommend straight up. Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell are two of the three in contention so it shows what his competition is like for this.

Masters Tournament Matchup Bets

More from Pro Golf Now

  • Hideki Matsuyama vs Bubba Watson: Bubba @ +125 money line
    • I’m very in on Bubba this week. The guy has been playing really well and loves Augusta, where he is a two-time Green Jacket winner.
  • Bryson DeChambeau vs Xander Schauffele: Xander @ +100 money line
    • Now I know that Bryson is the odds on favorite but Xander also rises to the occasion. He loves majors and big tournaments. Bryson could falter too.
  • Justin Rose vs Jordan Spieth: Spieth @ +115 money line
    • Jordan has been playing not the best golf for a couple of years but so has Rose in a sense. Spieth loves this track more than anyone not named Tiger Woods, and if there’s ever a place for him to get his game right, this is it.

Odds To Win – Love it (Bet) or List it (Leave)

  • DJ +850 – Love it. The best golfer in the world.
  • Jon Rahm +1100 – List it. He traditionally doesn’t show up at the majors like you think he would.
  • Tiger Woods +3000 – Love it. It’s Tiger at the Masters at 30/1. You do the math.
  • Rory +1100 – Love it. If there’s ever a time for him to win, it’s when there are no fans.
  • JT +1000 – Love it. He doesn’t have a strong history here, but the guy is a gamer who needs that second major.
  • Bryson +600 – List it. Not to say he can’t win, but at +600 you’re not getting great odds.
  • Brooks Koepka +1800 – Love it. Plays his best golf in majors. Missed a putt on 18 here last year which would’ve forced a playoff.
  • Tyrell Hatton +3000 – List it. He’s playing good golf but doesn’t have course history.
  • Matthew Wolff +4000 – List it. Rookies don’t tend to finish strong at Augusta let alone win.
  • Webb Simpson +3000 – Love it. He’s had an unbelievable year and finished T5 last year.

Next. The Masters 2020: Dustin Johnson primed to earn green jacket. dark

Only gamble where it’s legal folks, but hopefully, you’ll have as much fun as me watching this weekend. It feels like a decade since Tiger won in 2019 so let’s all just enjoy and drink it in.
