Burns did not light up the leaderboard like he did on Thursday, but his bogey-free round is perhaps the more impressive feat of the two rounds.

Despite being one of the first groups to tee off on Friday, Burns came out on fire. He racked up birdies on two of his first three holes. This gave Burns an astounding SEVEN birdies within his last nine holes of play.

After the hot start, Burns seemed to cool off a bit with four straight pars. However, on the par-5 17th, Burns once again birdied.

His three birdies were good enough for a 3-under par 33 on his first nine holes.

Burns came out hot after turning the corner as well. A birdie on the par-5 1st gave Burns his fourth of the day.

Burns followed up his birdie with another streak of four pars before he racked up his fifth birdie of the round on the par-3 6th hole.
