This week, the PGA Tour presents fantasy golf fans with the WGC Workday Championship @ Concession. This World Golf Championship event was originally scheduled to occur in Mexico. However, the tournament location was shifted to the Concession in Bradenton, Florida due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

It should be noted that this week’s World Golf Championship event will have a limited field of only 72 golfers. Additionally, this tournament will not have a cut after two rounds, meaning all 72 players will play all four rounds.

*Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to clearly state that the purpose of this article is not to provide a specific lineup. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a Draftkings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my Draftkings player selections for this week’s 2021 WGC Workday Championship @ Concession!

Jon Rahm $11,100

The 26 year old arrives at this week’s event on the heels of six consecutive top 13 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a seventh place result at the Masters in November.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 WGC Workday Championship @ Concession field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Rahm ranks third in strokes gained tee to green, fourth in strokes gained approach, and 18th in GIR (greens in regulation).

Tyrrell Hatton $9,600

The current fifth ranked player in the Official World Golf Rankings has four consecutive top 22 finishes on the European Tour, including a win at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship last month.

Keep in mind that Hatton can certainly perform at a high level on the PGA Tour. Let us not forget that Hatton won the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour last year.

Cameron Smith $8,700

The talented young Australian has three top four finishes in his last six events played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fourth place result at last week’s Genesis Invitational.

Marc Leishman $7,400

Leishman has two top 18 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a fourth place result at the Sony Open. In my opinion, Leishman presents outstanding fantasy golf value at a Draftkings price of $7,400.

Abraham Ancer $6,800

The 29 year old fired a final round 66 at the American Express last month on his way to a fifth place finish.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 WGC Workday Championship @ Concession field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Ancer ranks fifth in strokes gained approach and 12th in GIR (greens in regulation).

Additional golfers I like this week: Patrick Reed $9,200: Thomas Detry $6,600.

As always, good luck with your fantasy golf lineups this week!
