This week, the PGA Tour travels to Augusta, Georgia for the 2021 Masters. The first major of the year is finally here! The Masters always presents the fantasy golf community with a stacked field of the most talented golfers on the planet. This year is certainly no different in that regard.

Who will win the 2021 Masters? Can Dustin Johnson be the first defending champion since 2002 (Tiger Woods won the 2001 and 2002 Masters) to win back to back green jackets? Well, I will attempt to answer those questions as I provide you my favorite players for your fantasy golf lineups. Let’s get to it!

*Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to clearly state that the purpose of this article is not to provide a specific lineup. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a Draftkings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my Draftkings/fantasy golf player selections for the 2021 Masters.

Jon Rahm $11,000

The 26 year old Spaniard has played seven tournaments on the PGA Tour since the beginning of November. In those seven events played, Rahm has six top 13 finishes, including a seventh place result at the 2020 Masters.

Patrick Cantlay $9,800

The American has four top 15 finishes in his last five events played on the PGA Tour, including a third place result at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 Masters field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Cantlay ranks tenth in strokes gained approach, sixth in strokes gained ball striking, and fourth in GIR (greens in regulation).

Jordan Spieth $9,400

Spieth has three top nine finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a win at last week’s Valero Texas Open. Spieth also has five previous top 11 finishes at the Masters, including a win in 2015.

I think it’s fair to say that Spieth will likely be the most owned golfer in all GPP (guaranteed prize pool) tournaments this week. Spieth arrives on this slate at a Draftkings price of only $9,400. Frankly, that is far too low of a fantasy golf price.

Paul Casey $7,700

Paul Casey arrives at this year’s Masters on the heels of four consecutive top ten finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fifth place result at the Players Championship last month.

Next. Masters: Dustin Johnson Chooses Simple Champions Dinner Menu – No Joke!. dark

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 Masters field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Casey ranks fourth in strokes gained approach, seventh in strokes gained tee to green, ninth in birdie or better percentage, and 14th in GIR (greens in regulation).

Jason Kokrak $6,900

Kokrak has three consecutive top nine finishes on the PGA Tour, including an eighth place result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March. It should also be mentioned that Kokrak won the 2020 CJ Cup in October.

Additional golfers I like this week: Justin Thomas $10,600: Patrick Reed $9,300: Max Homa $7,100: Lanto Griffin $6,400.
