While most fans and bettors will simply bet on who will don the green jacket on Sunday, an event with as much notoriety as The Masters is bound to have prop bets available.

This article takes a look at the most popular prop bets available in the FanDuel Sportsbook and will make a pick in each category.

Top Former Winner

The Pick: Jordan Spieth (+250)

This was probably the hardest of all the prop bets to pick. It has one of the largest pools of players to pick from as 18 former champions will participate in the 85th Masters Tournament.

2020 Masters champion Dustin Johnson is the favorite in this category at +175. DJ would have been my pick here, but Spieth has simply been too hot recently. In his last seven events, Spieth has logged six top-15 finishes, capped off with a win last week at the Valero Texas Open. Meanwhile, in five events since his Masters victory, Johnson has only logged two top-25 finishes.

Top Debutant

The Pick: Will Zalatoris (+110)

Again, this category truly came down to two golfers in my eyes. Zalatoris, the favorite, has been on a rapid ascent throughout the 2021 season. In 14 events, while on a special temporary member exemption, Zalatoris has accumulated 10 top-25 finishes. He also ranks No. 12 in total strokes gained and near the top in many other statistical categories.

The only other golfer I considered here was Carlos Ortiz (+220). However, Zalatoris is just too good from tee to green, which made him the pick over Ortiz.

Top Senior

The Pick: Phil Mickelson (-115)

This was by far the easiest pick to make for this article. Mickelson is one of only three golfers within this category below the age of 55 and the only one who still makes an impact in tour events.

If you want a value pick, take Fred Couples at +550. In 35 Masters tournaments, Couples has carded 20 top-25 finishes, including one as recently as 2017.

Top Lefty

The Pick: Brian Harman (+220)

I had originally picked two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson (+185) in this category, but Harman’s value was just too good to pass up. Out of every lefty in the field, Harman has easily been the most consistent in 2021.

Watson is the favorite in this category, but has been extremely inconsistent recently. Despite a top-10 finish at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event, Watson has already missed three cuts in just six events in 2021.
