This week, the LPGA returns to the golf schedule! Fantasy golf fans will be presented with the 2021 LOTTE Championship. This event is played in Hawaii. This should be an outstanding golf tournament. Let’s take a look at this event from a fantasy golf perspective!

*It should be noted that this tournament will begin on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide a specific lineup. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a Draftkings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf/Draftkings player selections for the 2021 LOTTE Championship.

Danielle Kang $10,500

The 28 year old arrives at this week’s 2021 LOTTE Championship on the heels of three consecutive top 13 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a seventh place result at the Kia Classic last month. Additionally, Kang finished fifth at the 2019 LOTTE Championship.

Kang also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Kang is currently ranked 12th in putts per GIR (1.75), fourth in scoring average (69.56), and fourth in total birdies made (75) on the LPGA Tour.

So-Yeon Ryu $9,200

The South Korean has four top 20 finishes in her last five events played on the LPGA Tour, including a second place result at the Volunteers of America Classic in December. So-Yeon Ryu also finished ninth at the 2019 LOTTE Championship.

Ariya Jutanugarn $9,000

If you are looking for a golfer that fits the narrative of a course horse look no further. You have found that golfer! That person’s name is Ariya Jutanugarn. Jutanugarn has played the LOTTE Championship every year since 2016. In those four events played, Jutanugarn has four top 15 finishes, including a third place result at the 2019 LOTTE Championship.

I should also mention that Jutanugarn fired a third round 66 at last month’s Kia Classic en route to a 21st place finish.

Gabriela Ruffels $7,900

The 20 year old Australian shot a third round 69 at the ANA Inspiration on her way to an eventual 19th place finish. I think she has outstanding fantasy golf value at a Draftkings price of $7,900.

Anannarukarn $7,000

The 21 year old finished 12th at the 2019 LOTTE Championship. Anannarukarn also finished 28th at the ANA Inspiration two weeks ago.

Additional golfers I like this week: Nelly Korda $11,100: Inbee Park $10,900: Pernilla Lindberg $7,100: Cydney Clanton $6,600.
