2021 RBC Heritage: Winners and Losers from Harbour Town
By Tim Letcher
Each week on the PGA Tour, there are players who do better than expected and those who do worse than what most thought they would. At Pro Golf Now, we call them winners and losers. Here are this week’s winners and losers from the 2021 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town.
Winners
Stewart Cink – He set a 54-hole tournament record then cruised home on Sunday for his second win of the season. At age 47, he seems to be getting better and better. Could he make a run at the FedEx Cup this season?
Harold Varner III – Made the biggest move of the week in the FedEx Cup standings, jumping 5 spots and into 50th place. His T2 finish at Harbour Town is the best finish of his career.

Emiliano Grillo – Recorded his best finish of the season this week with a T2 at Harbour Town. In the process, he moved up 31 spots in the FedEx Cup standings.
Corey Conners – One of the hottest players on tour, Conners recorded his fourth Top 10 in the last two months by finishing T4 at the RBC Heritage.
Maverick McNealy – Earned his second top-five finish this season with a T4 at Harbour Town. He was solo second at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February. The young McNealy continues to get better and better.
Losers
Patrick Cantlay – The mini slump continued for Cantlay this week, as he shot 71-71 to miss the cut by two shots. This comes one week after shooting 79-73 at the Masters last week. Cantlay needs to snap out of this funk soon.
Paul Casey – It has been a good season for Casey, but this was not his week. An opening round of 74 cost him the chance to play the weekend. Even a 68 on Friday could not get him inside the cut line.
Sergio Garcia – The former Masters champion shot 68 on Thursday and looked to be in good shape for the weekend. But three double bogeys on Friday cost him any chance of playing this weekend at Harbour Town.
Tommy Fleetwood – He started with an awful round of 76 on Thursday, which turned out to be more than he could overcome, even with a 65 on Friday. Fleetwood missed the cut by one shot in an event where he should have contended to win.
Harris English – He entered the week in 12th place in the FedEx Cup standings but just didn’t have it at the RBC Heritage. He shot 70 on Thursday but a 76 on Friday left him home for the weekend.
