On Friday, Tiger Woods was seen for the first time since his awful car accident on Feb. 23. While the sighting did not provide much information, it was good for his fans to actually see Tiger.

Woods posted a photo of himself on Instagram. In the photo, Woods is on crutches with a cast on his right, lower leg. That’s the leg that was severely injured when Woods’ car left the road and crashed in Southern California in late February.

The photo features Woods and his dog, Bugs, standing near his backyard practice area in Jupiter, Florida. Woods’ caption for the image reads “My course is coming along faster than I am. But it’s nice to have a faithful rehab partner, man’s best friend.”

Since his accident, Woods had not been seen in public. In fact, this was the first update that anyone has received on his health since March 16, when it was announced that Woods had returned to South Florida after spending nearly a month in the hospital in the Los Angeles area.

There are still plenty of questions about Woods’ health as he tries to bounce back from yet another injury. Father Time is working against Woods now even more than ever, something that will make another return from injury even more difficult. Golf fans around the world would love to see one more comeback from Tiger, who bounced back to win the Masters in 2019. If he could do something similar, it might be one last hurrah for what has been a magnificent career.
