My undervalued and sleeper DFS DraftKings selections are back just in time for the Valspar Championship!

Although I took a couple weeks off from DFS articles, I’ve been red hot in our staff picks article.

As always, check out Hans Geevers full-lineup picks that he posts each and every week. Hans’ article is also great for reading about the course, and how he believes it will play.

And of course, as always in my articles, I am only looking at players under the average DraftKings salary of $8,333. Finding value is the most important thing when making your selections, so I hope to bring you some solid options.

The key stats I will be looking at this week are strokes gained approach, tee-to-green, and around-the-green. As well as driving accuracy, par 5 scoring average, par 5 efficiency 550-600 yards, and bogey avoidance. Here are my selections.

Chris Kirk ($8,200)

My 8K selection of the week is Chris Kirk. Kirk is well worth the 8K price tag right now, he’s coming off back-to-back top-seven finishes.

Going back a bit farther, Kirk has finished inside the top-10 in three of his last five starts and hasn’t missed a cut since the Waste Management Phoenix Open in early February.

So far on tour this season Kirk sits T18 in bogey avoidance, 32nd in stokes gained tee-to-green, 37th strokes gained approach, 59th driving accuracy, T62 par 5 scoring average, and 65th in strokes gained around the green.

Some of my other favorite 8K selections are Jason Kokrak ($8,700) and Emiliano Grillo ($8,300)

Keegan Bradley ($7,900)

My first 7K selection of the week is Keegan Bradley. Keegan is on a very solid run of golf, finishing inside the top-30 in four-straight events. Highlighted by a 10th-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

So far on tour this season Bradley sits eighth in strokes gained approach, 10th strokes gained tee-to-green and par 5 scoring average, 35th in par 5 efficiency 550-600 yards, 44th in both strokes gained around-the-green and driving accuracy, and T98 in bogey avoidance.

Keegan’s best finish in his career at Valspar is 31st in 2018.

Danny Willett ($7,200)

I can feel this is where people will start to question my selections. The next three options are risky, but I think they all have a good chance this week. The first is Danny Willett.

The 2016 Masters Champion is coming off a T8 finish last week at the Zurich Classic where he was paired with Tyrrell Hatton. And before that Willett had a top-20 finish at the RBC Heritage.

So far on the PGA Tour this season Willett sits third in strokes gained around-the-green, tied for sixth in par 5 scoring average, and 13th in par 5 efficiency 550-600 yards.

What Willett will need to do is follow the path Paul Casey did in 2019. Casey played the par 3’s at +1, the par 4’s at +6, and the par 5’s at an incredible -15 to win the tournament. What a stat.

Willett has made both of his career cuts at Innisbrook, and his best finish was 22nd back in 2016.

Some of my other favorite 7K selections include Doug Ghim ($7,300) and Matthew NeSmith ($7,200)

Ryan Moore ($6,900)

My first 6K selection of the week is Ryan Moore. Moore is coming off back-to-back made cuts at the Valero Texas Open and RBC Heritage after missing four of his first six cuts to start the season.

So far on tour this season Moore sits second in driving accuracy, 55th in strokes gained tee-to-green, 65th in bogey avoidance, and T92 in strokes gained around-the-green.

Moore has made seven out of 13 career cuts at Innisbrook, including a third-place finish back in 2016.

Roger Sloan ($6,500)

My final selection of the week is Roger Sloan. Sloan was on a nice run of golf in the month of March. He had three top-25 finishes in March, not bad for a 6K golfer.

So far on tour this season Sloan sits T22 in bogey avoidance, and 33rd in both strokes gained approach and strokes gained tee-to-green.

Sloan made the cut in his only career start at Valspar, that was back in 2019.

Some of my other favorite 6K selections include Kyle Stanley ($6,800) and Scott Stallings ($6,600)
