The PGA Tour heads back to Texas after an exciting PGA Championship last week in South Carolina.

Although I didn’t have Phil as a sleeper selection last week, I did have Abraham Ancer in my DFS DraftKings selections article, who finished T8.

As always, check out Hans Geevers’ full-lineup picks that he posts each and every week. Hans’ article is also great for reading about the course, and how he believes it will play.

And of course, as always in my articles, I am only looking at players under the average DraftKings salary of $8,333. Finding value is the most important thing when making your selections, so I hope to bring you some solid options.

The key stats I will be looking at this week are driving accuracy, strokes gained on approach and around-the-green, greens in regulation, and par 3 efficiency 175-200 yards. Here are my selections:

Kevin Streelman ($8,300)

Coming in just $33 under the average salary is Kevin Streelman. Streelman is coming off his best career finish at a major championship last week, where he finished T8.

So far on tour this season Streelman sits 20th in greens in regulation, 30th in strokes gained on approach, and 52nd in driving accuracy.

Streelman has made three of his last four cuts at Colonial, highlighted by a top-20 finish in 2017.

Matt Kuchar ($7,600)

My first 7K selection of the week is Matt Kuchar. Kuchar makes his second appearance in my last three sleeper selections articles as I also liked him at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

So far on tour this season Kuchar sits 19th in driving accuracy, 86th in greens in regulation, 92 in strokes gained around-the-green, and 97th in strokes gained on approach.

In his last four starts at Colonial, Kuchar has made three cuts. In those three made cuts, he has a finish no worse than 32nd. Pairing that with Kuchar’s three top-20’s in his last five starts on tour, I like his value this week.

Harold Varner III ($7,400)

My last 7K selection of the week is Harold Varner III. Varner finished 19th at the Charles Schwab Classic last season, and his stats back up the belief that he will have another good week in 2021.

So far on tour this season Varner sits 23rd in strokes gained around-the-green, 28th in par 3 efficiency 175-200 yards, 39th in strokes gained on approach, and T63 in greens in regulation.

Some of my other favorite 7K selections include Brandt Snedeker ($7,900) and Joel Dahmen ($7,400)

Zach Johnson ($6,900)

My first 6K selection of the week is Zach Johnson. Johnson made the cut at the 2020 Charles Schwab Classic, and has two career wins at Colonial, 2010 and 2012.

So far on tour this season Johnson sits 56th in par 3 efficiency 175-200 yards, 65th in greens in regulation, and 98th in driving accuracy.

Michael Thompson ($6,600)

My final selection of the week is Michael Thompson. Thompson will be a high-risk/high-reward play this week. Most fantasy experts believe driving accuracy will be the most important stat of the week, as I do, and Michael Thompson is going to hit the fairway.

So far on tour this season Thompson sits 22nd in driving accuracy with 67.69% of fairways hit. Along with that, Thompson sits 91st in greens in regulation, and 99th in strokes gained around-the-green.

Thompson has had a bit of success at Colonial, making five career cuts in seven starts. His best recent finish at the event was 32nd in 2018.

Some of my other favorite 6K selections include Brian Stuard ($6,700) and Cameron Percy ($6,400)
