After a one week stint in California, the PGA Tour travels to Cromwell, Connecticut for the 2021 Travelers Championship. Fantasy golf fans will be happy to hear that the Travelers Championship will feature a quality field of talent that includes Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and defending champion Dustin Johnson.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide a specific lineup. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a Draftkings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf/Draftkings player selections for the 2021 Travelers Championship.

Patrick Cantlay $10,400

The talented young American has two top 15 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a win at the Memorial Tournament earlier this month.

Cantlay also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event history. Cantlay has played the Travelers Championship three times since 2018. In those three tournaments just mentioned, Cantlay has three top 15 finishes, including an 11th place result at the 2020 Travelers Championship.

Paul Casey $9,900

The 43 year old arrives at this week’s Travelers Championship on the heels of three consecutive top seven finishes (PGA and European Tours combined), including a fourth place result at the PGA Championship last month.

in relation to this week’s current listed 2021 Travelers Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Paul Casey ranks first in GIR (greens in regulation), first in strokes gained ball striking, and eighth in birdie or better percentage.

Casey also has an impeccable record at the Travelers Championship. Casey has played the Travelers Championship six times since 2015. In those six events just mentioned, Casey has an impressive five top 17 finishes, including a second place result at the 2015 Travelers Championship.

Kyle Stanley $7,000

The 33 year old American has three top 26 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an eighth place result at the Charles Schwab Challenge four weeks ago. Stanley also finished 24th at the 2020 Travelers Championship.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 Travelers Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Stanley ranks third in GIR (greens in regulation), fifth in strokes gained tee to green, and third in strokes gained approach.

Henrik Norlander $6,800

Norlander fired a final round 68 at the Palmetto Championship @ Congaree two weeks ago en route to an eventual 25th place finish. Additionally, Norlander finished 25th at the 2016 Travelers Championship.

Hank Lebioda $6,700

Lebioda has two top 17 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a 13th place result at the Valspar Championship. I think Lebioda presents outstanding fantasy golf value at the low Draftkings price of only $6,700.

Additional golfers I like this week: Kevin Streelman $9,400: Bubba Watson $8,900.
