This week in betting, the tour moves over to Silvis, Illinois in Rock County for the John Deere Classic. Betting odds are from WynnBet.com, odds may differ at each sportsbook.
This is the last PGA event before The Open Championship and, as is usually the case, the field is less than stellar to be certain. Having said that, there’s always money to be made on the betting front.

The favorite this week is Daniel Berger at 11-1. The 28 year-old is 23rd in FedEx Cup, and does already have a win the year at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
I’m normally not one to bet on favorites, usually because there isn’t a whole lot of value most of the time, but there is some value with Berger, but I’ll be staying away from him.
The field being so weak, it’s really tough to pick winners. There are virtually no big names, making the betting markets very volatile and unpredictable.
Looking down the list a bit, I really like Alex Noren, who is my pick, at 30-1. Noren had an impressive T4 finish last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, narrowly missing the 3-man playoff. He’s strung together some top 25s over the last weeks, I think he gets it done this week.
Some others that I like as well are Kevin Streelman at 25-1. Brian Harman might be worth a look at 14-1. Sungjae Im stands at 18-1, so you can definitely find some value there. Last week’s winner Cameron Smith is at 30-1.
There is plenty of money to be made this week if you can find the right man. You can find a bevy of big numbers to cash in on with the field being as unpredictable as it is.
Again, I think Alex Noren with 30-1 odds and keeps it rolling this week after a good week over in Detroit. Good luck in making your betting selections this week. Let’s make some money.
