Bryson DeChambeau has been a huge story in the golf world over the last couple of months. Since the Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau feud started to heat up about two months ago DeChambeau can’t go anywhere without hearing about it or even getting called by Brooks Koepka’s name.

At the 2021 U.S  Open, DeChambeau looked like he would win back-to-back U.S Open victories when he birdied the eighth hole in the final round after almost making a hole-in-one. DeChambeau ended up taking control of the leaderboard at 5-under with 10 more holes left to play.

DeChambeau’s last 10 holes at the 2021 U.S Open, unfortunately, didn’t go his way. He ended up shooting a 77 for the round and finishing 3-over for the tournament placing him in a tie for 26th place.

DeChambeau ended up parting ways with his caddie, Tim Tucker, right before the start of the Rocket Mortgage Classic over the 4th of July weekend. DeChambeau will be using a new caddie named Brian Zeigler this weekend.

DeChambeau was able to take his golf skills to Montana on July 6th where he participated in the Match featuring him and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers versus the 2021 PGA Champion winner Phil Mickelson and Tampa Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.  DeChambeau and Rodgers were able to put together a nice performance and defeated Mickelson and Brady.

DeChambeau’s attention now is towards the 2021 Open Championship that will be played at the Royal St.George’s Golf Course.

The Royal St. George’s Golf Course is definitely going to be very tricky. Everyone is used to DeChambeau’s long drive and fast clubhead speed, but there will definitely be some holes that he will have to go against his style of play and just make sure he puts it in the fairway.

DeChambeau is one of the best golfers globally, and I think he will figure out a way to make sure he wins the 2021 Open Championship.

A win at the Open would give DeChambeau his second career major, and it also would be a great story and hopefully would take attention away from his feud that’s been going on with Brooks Koepka.

DeChambeau will tee off at 4:25 am eastern time on Thursday, July 15th to start his weekend at the Open.
