After a one week visit to England for the final major of the year, the PGA Tour returns to the United States for the 2021 3M Open. The 3M Open will present the fantasy golf community with a quality field of talent including Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and 2019 3M Open champion Matthew Wolff.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide a specific lineup. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a Draftkings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

*The 2021 3M Open will be played at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. This is the third consecutive year that TPC Twin Cities has hosted the 3M Open.

Here are my Draftkings/fantasy golf player selections for the 2021 3M Open.

Hank Lebioda $7,900

The 27 year old arrives at this week’s 2021 3M Open on the heels of three consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fourth place result at the Rocket Mortgage Classic earlier this month.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 3M Open field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Lebioda ranks first in strokes gained putting, seventh in scrambling, and first in total Draftkings points scored.

Charl Schwartzel $8,200

The South African has played ten tournaments on the PGA Tour since the beginning of April. In those ten events just mentioned, Schwartzel has accumulated seven top 26 finishes, including a third place result at the AT&T Byron Nelson in May.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2021 3M Open field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Charl Schwartzel ranks tenth in bogey avoidance, fifth in strokes gained on par fours, 13th in strokes gained off the tee, and second in scrambling.

I also like the fact that Charl Schwartzel has performed well at the 3M Open in the past. More specifically, Charl finished third at the 2020 3M Open.

Ryan Moore $7,800

Moore fired a first round 65 at the John Deere Classic two weeks ago on his way to an eventual second place finish. Moore also finished 12th at the 2020 3M Open.

Kyle Stanley $7,300

The 33 year old has shown recent signs that his game is trending in the right direction. Stanley finished 14th at the Valero Texas Open in April. Stanley followed up that quality result with an eighth place finish at the Charles Schwab Challenge in May.

Bo Hoag $7,100

The 32 year old American has accumulated two top 13 finishes in his last five events on the PGA Tour, including an 11th place result at the John Deere Classic.

Hoag has also had previous success at TPC Twin Cities. Hoag finished 12th at the 2020 3M Open.

Additional golfers I like this week: Tony Finau $10,700: Matthew Wolff $9,700: Tom Lewis $7,000: Brandon Hagy $7,200.
