Three rounds have been played at the 2021 3M Open and the event is still wide open. The leaderboard is bunched at the top.

In fact, there are 11 players within two shots of the lead with 18 holes left to play. Here are five players who could win on Sunday.

More from Pro Golf Now

Cameron Tringale – I know, I know, he’s never won in 306 starts on the PGA Tour. But he holds the 54-hole lead in Minnesota. Tringale has finished second on three occasions and third four times during his career. Now is the time for him to finally finish on top.

Gary Woodland – He’s a major champion, having won the 2019 U.S. Open, and he has three other wins on the PGA Tour. He has struggled at times on tour this year, so this is a prime opportunity for him to get in the winner’s circle. Plus, at No. 127 in the FedEx Cup standings, he needs to solidify his postseason.

Maverick McNealy – The guy with one of the best names on tour is just one shot back with one round left. He has never won on tour although he did finish second this season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. McNealy is a rising star on tour and a win will allow him to take yet another step in that direction.

Pat Perez – He finished early on Saturday and watched the leaders stall out down the stretch. Now, Perez finds himself two shots back with one round left. He has three PGA Tour victories but none since 2018. Look for him to be a factor on Sunday.

Jimmy Walker – Would you believe that Walker has six PGA Tour victories? However, since winning the 2016 PGA Championship, Walker has battled injuries and health issues and has not won. In 24 starts this season, he has just one Top 10 finish (Memorial Tournament) so a win here would be a bit of a surprise. But he’s one shot back with one round left.
