Leave it up to Jordan Spieth to do something great, but then again, it isn’t shocking that he did. During his second round at the 2021 Northern Trust, he holed out for eagle on the fifth and sixth hole at Liberty National.

Those Spieth-like things are what make him such a likable player. According to golf writer Jason Sobel, those two hole-outs on Friday give Spieth 120 in his career and 21 on the season.

He bogeyed the first hole but quickly put that behind him as a birdie on the third sparked something.

Spieth holed out the par-4 5th hole from 80 yards out and followed it up by holing out the par-5 6th from 28 yards.

While the feat is absolutely incredible, it’s the roars that make it that much better.

The crowd loves Speith, well everyone pretty much loves this guy, so when he does something this awesome, the roars are just as memorable as the shot itself.

Friday’s first hole out saw a decent roar, but it was the second one that really gets the folks excited.

The slight fist pump never gets old, not to mention the commentary is top-notch. The “Uh, Hello… Maybe,” is honestly the best way to describe some of the things Spieth manages to do.

This is the Spieth-roar that we all know and love. It’s like they all knew it was going in, and we’re not surprised that it did.

Speith made an uneventful par on the seventh hole and followed it up with a birdie on the eighth to close the front nine out with a 31.

Jon Rahm leads the field at 12 under through two rounds. Speith is just five strokes behind him, but with the back nine left, anything could happen.

Spieth has momentum heading into the final bit of his round, so who knows what other amazing things could happen. However, those back-to-back hole-outs are toward the top of the list in terms of awesome things.
