Risers

Bryson DeChambeau – DeChambeau was inches away from claiming just the 13th sub-60 round on the PGA Tour. However, his 12-under par performance was enough to claim the lead and move him to No. 1 in the projected FedEx Cup standings.

Hudson Swafford – Swafford used a strong performance last week to secure his spot in the BMW Championship and is looking to do the same this week. At 11-under par, Swafford is currently in a tie for 4th and No. 28 in the projected standings.

Erik Van Rooyen – Just like Swafford, an impressive performance from Van Rooyen secure his spot at Caves Valley. At 9-under par, Van Rooyen is still on the outside looking in at No. 34 in the projected standings, but has given himself a fighting chance.

Fallers

Marc Leishman – Leishman had the second worst round of the day on Friday after recording a 76.  As a result, he fell to No. 46 in the projected standings and will need to rebound in a big way.

Carlos Ortiz – Four bogeys through the last six holes spoiled Ortiz’s day as he recorded a 2-over par 74. Like Leishman, Ortiz fell 11 spots and now sits at No. 49 in the projected standings.

Collin Morikawa – Morikawa has simply not found his footing during the playoffs. After missing the cut last week, the world No. 3 is currently in dead last at Caves Valley. As a result Morikawa has fallen to No. 11 in the projected standings after beginning the playoffs as the FedEx Cup points leader.
