Just like it has all week, the 2021 BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club posed no challenge to the best golfers in the world. So much so, that after three rounds only four golfers sit above par.

This article will take a look at the biggest movers from Friday’s action in the projected FedEx Cup standings, keeping in mind that only the Top-30 from this week will advance.

Saturday Risers in 2021 BMW Championship

Sungjae Im – Im is arguably Friday’s biggest winner after posting a 6-under par round. Sitting in solo third place, Im is now projected to jump from No. 25 to No. 12 in the projected FedEx Cup standings.

K.H. Lee – Lee carded two eagles en route to a 66 on Thursday, which moves him into a tie for 12th place. After beginning the week at No. 37 in the projected standings, Lee now sits at No. 32 and has a realistic chance to advance to the TOUR Championship.

Webb Simpson – Just like Im and Lee, Simpson recorded a 6-under par round on Saturday to move into a tie for 14th. After his big round, Simpson jumps from No. 52 to No. 41 in the projected standings. A low round and run towards the top of the leaderboard will be necessary if Simpson wants to advance.

Saturday Fallers in 2021 BMW Championship

Kevin Kisner – Kisner was the last winner on tour before the beginning of the playoffs, but his momentum quickly faded as he missed the cut at The Northern Trust. Sitting at just 1-under par, Kisner is projected to fall from No. 31 to No. 38 in the projected standings. However, a strong performance on Sunday may be enough to propel him to a TOUR Championship appearance.

Keegan Bradley – Similar to Kisner, Bradley was squarely on the bubble entering this week, sitting at No. 32 in the FedEx Cup standings. However, a mediocre performance thus far has caused the former BMW Championship winner to fall to No. 38 in the projected standings.

Patrick Reed – Unfortunately, Reed is unable to participate in the FedEx Cup Playoffs due to a battle with pneumonia that resulted in a hospital stay. As a result, Reed has fallen from No. 26 to No. 30 in the projected standings.
