This week, the PGA Tour presents the fantasy golf community with the CJ Cup @ Summit. Let’s take a look at this week’s PGA Tour event from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my DFS/fantasy golf player selections for the CJ Cup @ Summit.

Alex Noren

The 39 year old has accumulated four top 16 finishes in his last five events played (PGA and European Tours combined), including an impressive fourth place result at the Northern Trust in August.

Noren also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s current listed CJ Cup @ Summit field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Alex Noren ranks eighth in GIR (greens in regulation), eighth in bogey avoidance and ninth in birdie or better percentage.

Marc Leishman

The 37 year old Australian arrives at this week’s CJ Cup @ Summit on the heels of two consecutive top four finishes on the PGA Tour, including a third place result at the Shriners Hospitals For Children Open last week.

I also like the fact that Marc Leishman has played well at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. More specifically, Leishman finished second at the 2017 CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges.

Kyoung-Hoon Lee

Kyoung-Hoon Lee has accumulated two top 14 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a 12th place result at the BMW Championship last month.

In relation to this week’s current listed CJ Cup @ Summit field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Kyoung-Hoon Lee ranks second in strokes gained off the tee, fourth in GIR (greens in regulation), sixth in bogey avoidance and sixth in driving accuracy.

Talor Gooch

The 29 year old American has accumulated two consecutive top 11 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fourth place result at the Fortinet Championship last month.

In relation to this week’s current listed CJ Cup @ Summit field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Talor Gooch ranks second in strokes gained off the tee, fifth in strokes gained approach, eighth in scrambling, and fifth in bogey avoidance.

Additional golfers I like this week: Collin Morikawa: Justin Rose: Ian Poulter.
