This week, the PGA Tour presents fantasy golf fans with the Bermuda Championship. Let’s take a look at this event from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

*The Bermuda Championship made it’s debut on the PGA Tour schedule in 2019. The Port Royal Golf Course has been the host course since the tournament’s inception.

Here are my fantasy golf/DFS player selections for the Bermuda Championship.

Denny McCarthy

Earlier this month, the 28 year old American fired a third round 65 at the Sanderson Farms Championship en route to an eventual 17th place finish.

Denny McCarthy also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. McCarthy has played this week’s PGA Tour event twice since 2019. In those two tournaments just mentioned, McCarthy has accumulated two top 15 finishes, including a fourth place result at the 2020 Bermuda Championship.

In relation to this week’s current listed Bermuda Championship field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Denny McCarthy ranks second in driving accuracy and 12th in GIR (greens in regulation).

Danny Willet

The 34 year old Englishman arrives at this week’s Bermuda Championship on the heels of two consecutive top 21 finishes (PGA and European Tours combined), including a win at the 2021 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship earlier this month.

Russell Knox

Russell Knox has two top 29 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a 24th place result at the 2021 Wyndham Championship in August.

In relation to this week’s current listed Bermuda Championship field, in the last 36 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Russell Knox ranks ninth in driving accuracy, 12th in strokes gained ball striking, 12th in strokes gained approach, and 15th in GIR (greens in regulation).

I also like the fact that Russell Knox has performed well at the Bermuda Championship previously. Knox finished 11th at the 2020 Bermuda Championship.

Hayden Buckley

The 25 year old American has accumulated two consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fourth place result at the Sanderson Farms Championship four weeks ago.

Seamus Power

In his last seven events played on the PGA Tour, Seamus Power has accumulated four top 21 finishes, including a win a the 2021 Barbasol Championship in July.

It should also be noted that Power finished 31st at the 2019 Bermuda Championship.

Additional golfers I like this week: Mito Pereira: Christiaan Bezuidenhout: Cameron Percy.
