The PGA Tour makes the trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, this week for the 2024 Shriners Children's Open; the fourth of eight FedEx Cup events this fall. A short journey from last week's event in Utah, TPC Summerlin welcomes a 132-man field this week headlined by two-time defending champion Tom Kim.

The talented 22-year-old, fresh off his second Presidents Cup, returns to Nevada and the Shriners Children's Open seeking a hat trick of titles at TPC Summerlin. Kim is joined by fellow International Presidents Cup teammate Taylor Pendrith, who will be looking for his second win on tour in 2024 after breaking through at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May. Other notables who are set to tee it up on Thursday include last week's Black Desert Championship winner, Matt McCarty, 2024 John Deere Classic winner Davis Thompson, last week's runner-up in Utah, Stephan Jaeger, and Tom Hoge, who will make his second appearance this fall following a top 10 finish at the Procore Championship last month.

Things are ramping up as the FedEx Cup Fall race approaches the midway point. With a trophy and critical FedEx points on the line, it's sure to enthralling week in the desert. Shriners Children's Open tee times, field

Here is a look at the tee times for the first two rounds of the 2024 Shriners Children's Open.

The aforementioned Taylor Pendrith forms part of an intriguing group alongside fellow countryman Nick Taylor, who missed out on the Presidents Cup call-up from Mike Weir, and six-time PGA Tour winner Rickie Fowler who makes his second appearance of the fall following a T16 last time out at the Sanderson Farms Championship. The trio will get their tournament underway at 10:28 a.m. ET on Thursday morning.

Defending champion Tom Kim will begin his title defense alongside last week's winner Matt McCarty, and Kevin Yu, fresh off of his win at the Sanderson Farms Championship two weeks ago. Kim and company will get their championship underway at 3:18 p.m. ET on Thursday afternoon. A couple of other notable groups and tee times on Thursday include; Cam Davis/Stephan Jaeger/Tom Hoge (3:29 p.m. ET), and Davis Thompson/Kurt Kitayama/Trey Mullinax (3:40 p.m. ET).

Since the initial field release, Max Greyserman and Michael Thorbjornsen have withdrawn from the event while Lanto Griffin, Nicolo Galletti, Morgan Hoffmann, and Neal Shipley have all been added to the field after Monday qualifying for the event.

Shriners Children's Open format, purse, prize money

As previously mentioned, TPC Summerlin will welcome a field of 132 this week. A cut of top 65 players and ties will be made after 36 holes of action this week with around half of the field advancing through to play the weekend at the Shriners Children's Open.

The purse for the 2024 Shriners Children's Open is set at $7 million with this year's champion in Las Vegas set to earn a winner's share of $1.26 million. This is down from the $8.4 million prize purse that was divvied out to the field at TPC Summerlin last year. This is in keeping with a large majority of events this FedEx Cup Fall that have already witnessed or will see reduced purses in 2024.
