Two years ago, Keegan Bradley didn't need dramatics to win the Travelers Championship, winning what's basically his hometown event by three shots.
But that's certainly not how things played out on Sunday, as the U.S. Ryder Cup captain captivated the crowd at TPC River Highlands with a dynamic and undoubtedly dramatic comeback, rallying from three shots down with four holes to play to take the final Signature Event of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
In doing so, Bradley has obviously added plenty of fuel to the fire about him possibly being a playing captain at Bethpage Black come September. And, of course, he also denied Tommy Fleetwood his first-ever PGA Tour victory, although that was more the Englishman shooting himself in the foot down the stretch yet again.
Despite carding a 2-over 37 on the front nine, Fleetwood still shared the lead with Bradley at the turn but was seemingly set to pull away with two birdies in four holes to open his second nine. And when Bradley bogeyed the 14th, the tournament was all but over.
But that's why they play all 18, folks.
Down three, Bradley pulled to within two with a birdie at the drivable par-4 15th. And when Fleetwood bogeyed the par-3 16th, Keegan got to within one with a ho-hum par. The margin remained one after both made par at the 17th.
Russell Henley, who, let's not forget, called a one-stroke penalty on himself during Friday's second round, was still in the mix at this point and made things incredibly more interesting by chipping in for birdie at the 18th, thus posting 14-under.
Both Bradley and Fleetwood found the fairway off the 18th tee, but while Fleetwood left his approach just under 50 feet from the hole, Bradley stuffed his second to within six feet.

Fleetwood was still away after his birdie effort came up just under seven feet short, and his par putt was off the mark as well, sliding by the cup to leave him with a tap-in bogey.
As such, Bradley's birdie putt became a putt to win the Travelers Championship. And at that point, the outcome was really never in doubt, as Captain Keegan drained it in dead-center fashion, thus taking the title and the $3.6 million paycheck that went along with it.

Fleetwood, who now has 42 top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, the most by any player in the last 40 years without a victory, and Henley each collected $1.76 million by tying for second.
