The Truist Championship, formerly known as the Wells Fargo Championship, welcomes an elite field to the Philadelphia Cricket Club for the next stop on the Signature Event schedule.

The Philadelphia Cricket Club's Wissahickon Course will host a PGA Tour event for the first time as the longtime home of this event, Quail Hollow Club, gets set to host next week's PGA Championship. The Wissahickon Course is a par-70 classic. Designed by A.W. Tillinghast, the 7,119-yard layout will provide a unique test for this week's loaded 72-man field.

With the exception of world No.1 Scottie Scheffler and Jason Day, who withdrew from the event, most of the big names, including Masters champion Rory McIlroy, will tee it up in the sixth Signature Event of the year.

With a new course and players such as McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama, Ludvig Ã…berg, and Justin Thomas looking to add another Signature Event title to their collection this year, and the likes of Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, and Xander Schauffele looking for their first, the stage is perfectly set for a memorable week.

Let's dive into this week's picks and predictions for the 2025 Truist Championship.

2025 Truist Championship picks and predictions

Top 20 pick for the Truist Championship: Lucas Glover (+220)

While the 2025 season has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride up to this point for Lucas Glover, the 2009 U.S. Open winner has recorded some excellent results to date, highlighted by top-three finishes at both the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Players Championship and a T8 finish at the Valspar.

An elite ball striker, Glover could surprise in another Signature Event as he heads into the Truist Championship ranked inside the top 26 on the PGA Tour in both strokes gained approach and strokes gained tee to green this season.

Top 10 pick for the Truist Championship: Jordan Spieth (+200)

Chasing the career Grand Slam at next week's PGA Championship, Spieth comes into the Truist Championship on the back of his best result of the season to date, taking solo fourth at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Ranked 28th in strokes gained tee to green this season, Spieth, who's finished 18th or better in each of his last four starts, is playing his best golf of the season at the perfect time.

Sleeper pick to win the Truist Championship: Keegan Bradley (+4000)

Ahead of next week's PGA Championship, the 2011 PGA Champion has done almost everything but win in 2025. Bradley has already accumulated six top-20 finishes or better this season, including a T5 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March.

The 38-year-old has gained strokes on approach in all but two starts this season and ranks second in the field in strokes gained tee to green over the last 20 rounds, per Data Golf. Bradley is no stranger to winning big events, and the U.S. Ryder Cup captain could cement his spot as a playing captain at Bethpage later this year with a win at the Truist Championship.

Pick to win the Truist Championship: Patrick Cantlay (+2000)

With five top-15 finishes this season already, Cantlay's game is trending in the right direction heading into the year's second major. Fresh off a T13 finish at the RBC Heritage in his last start, Cantlay has now gained strokes on approach in every event dating back to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February.

The 2021 FedEx Cup champion has had some success on A.W. Tillinghast designs throughout his career, including a T3 finish at the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black. Cantlay hasn't won since the 2022 BMW Championship, but this could be his week as he looks to follow in Justin Thomas' footsteps in snapping a lengthy winless drought this season.
