With the year's final major in the books, the PGA Tour returns to Minnesota for the 2026 3M Open. After Ryan Fox's magical win at The Open, attention shifts towards the race for the FedEx Cup as the regular season winds down.
TPC Twin Cities (Par-71, 7,431 yards) in Blaine, Minnesota, has been the home of the 3M Open since the event's inaugural edition back in 2019. With only three events remaining in the PGA Tour's regular season, the 144-man field that will tee it up at the 2026 3M Open will look to accrue valuable FedEx Cup points ahead of the regular season finale in a few weeks.

Runner-up at the 3M Open in 2022, Grillo has finished T24 or better on each of his last four visits to TPC Twin Cities. First in the field over the last month in strokes gained: putting, per Data Golf, Grillo returns to the 3M Open having finished T26 or better in each of his last three starts, including a T23 finish at the U.S. Open last month.
Sleeper pick for the 3M Open w/o Scheffler: Cam Davis (+29000)
With Scottie Scheffler a substantial favorite to pick up his first win since The American Express, let's make some picks in the without Scheffler market, beginning with two-time PGA Tour winner Cam Davis. It's been a rough year for the Australian, but he flashed in his most recent start at the Genesis Scottish Open, where he finished in a tie for 21st. He missed the cut at the 3M Open in 2025, but before that, he had finished T19 or better in three consecutive starts at TPC Twin Cities.
Sleeper pick for the 3M Open w/o Scheffler: Tom Hoge (+14000)
Hoge finished T4 at the 3M Open in 2022 and T20 here in 2023. A winner at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2022, Hoge returns to Minnesota fresh off a T10 finish in his most recent start at the ISCO Championship. He has four top-10 finishes in 2026, and he can contend at venues like TPC Twin Cities that reward strong approach play. Hoge ranks fourth in the field in that department over the last month.
Pick to win the 3M Open w/o Scheffler: Mac Meissner (+4500)
Meissner is having a strong season and is on the verge of making the FedEx Cup Playoffs in 2026. He returns to the 3M Open having finished T10 or better in four of his last nine starts. Mac excels on the greens and has flashed with his irons, ranking 21st and 23rd in the field, respectively, over the last six months. That should give him an excellent chance of contending once again at a locale where he finished T14 in 2025.
Pick to win the 3M Open w/o Scheffler: Jackson Suber (+3500)
It's hard not to be impressed with Suber, who was in the mix at The Open Championship before finishing T28, his sixth top-thirty finish in his last eight starts. Fourth at both the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the RBC Canadian Open and T6 at the John Deere Classic, Suber has done everything but win in 2026.
He missed the cut in his debut at the 3M Open in 2025, but returns to TPC Twin Cities ranked twelfth in the field in strokes gained: tee to green over the last month. Suber has gained strokes on approach and on the greens in each of his last three starts.
