AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am format 2025: field, purse, TV schedule
The PGA Tour returns to iconic Pebble Beach for the year's second signature event, the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Following an exciting finish at Torrey Pines last week, the PGA Tour makes the journey up the coast for the third of four California stops this season.
Last year's event saw Wyndham Clark win a 54-hole contest at Pebble Beach after the tournament was cut short due to bad weather and unplayable conditions. Fingers crossed, the 2025 edition of this famous event is set to be the first 72-hole, limited-field event in tournament history. One of the marquee events on this year's schedule, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will welcome 80 of the PGA Tour's best for the second of eight signature events in 2025.
Eight of the top 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking will tee it up this week including top-ranked Scottie Scheffler who is set to make his 2025 debut after missing nearly all of the first month of the season due to a hand injury. Another player returning from a lengthy absence to make his season debut is Jordan Spieth. Spieth hasn't teed it up in an event since last year's FedEx St. Jude Championship. Meanwhile, several players including four-time major champion Rory McIlroy and World No. 10 Tommy Fleetwood are set to tee it up stateside for the first time in 2025 this week.
Can a stacked field deny Wyndham Clark from becoming the seventh repeat winner at Pebble Beach? Can Hideki Matsuyama follow his win at the season-opening Sentry with a second consecutive signature event title? Will Scottie Scheffler immediately return to form and add yet another title to his immensely impressive resume? Whatever unfolds in the coming days, the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is shaping up to be a good one. Let's take a look at this week's field, the tournament format, the prize purse at Pebble Beach, and how to catch all of the action from one of the marquee events on this year's schedule.
AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field, format for 2025
Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course will host the 80-man field on each of the first two days of this year's tournament before the final two rounds over the weekend are contested exclusively at Pebble Beach GL. Professionals will once again tee it up alongside their amateur playing partners during the first two rounds before returning to Pebble for the final two rounds. This marks the second consecutive year that the tournament will feature just two courses after Monterey Peninsula CC, a long-time staple of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, was removed from the course rotation ahead of the event's first year as a signature event last season. Like the majority of signature events on the 2025 schedule, the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will not feature a cut after 36 holes with the field guaranteed a tee time for all four rounds this week.
Here is a look at the 80-man field for the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Since the initial field release, Alex Smalley, Charley Hoffman, and Emiliano Grillo have all been bumped from the field and replaced by Sam Stevens and Lee Hodges, who qualified via the Aon Swing 5 after the Farmers Insurance Open, Harry Hall, who received a sponsor exemption, and Keith Mitchell (FedEx Cup).
AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am purse, prize money
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am purse for 2025 is set at $20 million with this year's champion taking home a winner's share of $3.6 million. This matches the 2024 prize purse which also featured a $20 million purse as a signature event. The 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will feature one of the largest purses on the schedule this season as one of the eight signature events on the PGA Tour this year. In addition to the $3.6 million winner's share, this year's champion at Pebble Beach will earn 700 FedEx Cup points, an increase from the standard allotment of 500 FedEx Cup points in non-signature events on the PGA Tour.
