The second half of the 2025 LIV Golf season kicked off this weekend, with the eighth of 14 events on the year being contested at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.
And just as things went in three of the first seven, Joaquín Niemann found himself atop the podium on the individual side of things, shooting a scorching 8-under round of 63 on Sunday to get to 15-under for the week, thus besting Graeme McDowell and Anirban Lahiri by a single stroke.
Bryson DeChambeau, who's preparing to defend his U.S. Open title, was one of four players to finish in a tie for fourth at 13-under, a list that also included Thomas Pieters, Bubba Watson, and Phil Mickelson. And for those who didn't see Lefty's ridiculous flop shot at the 17th, do yourself a favor and watch it below.

As for Niemann, who carded eight birdies during his bogey-free final round, the Chilean is now the first player in LIV Golf history to take four individual titles in a single season. And with the winner's share of the $20 million total purse at every event being $4 million, he's collected $16 million from just those four starts alone.
Niemann will now head to the U.S. Open having won three of his last five LIV starts and also recently posted his best-ever finish in a major championship, tying for eighth at last month's PGA Championship. So, he's certainly one to watch at Oakmont.
As for the team competition, DeChambeau's Crushers GC squad, which also includes Lahiri, Paul Casey, and Charles Howell III, took the title for the second straight event and will split the $3 million top prize after finishing the week at 36-under.
Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC took second at 34-under, with Brooks Koepka's Smash GC coming in third at 31-under. Niemann's Torque GC finished fourth at 25-under.
