2. Ludvig Aberg
At this current moment, it wouldn't surprise me if Ludvig Aberg won any tournament that he teed it up in. I came up with my own predictions before the season started for what to expect, and I predicted that Aberg would have multiple wins this season, including a major. Scientists in a lab couldn't build a player better suited for the modern game than Ludvig Aberg. He hits the ball a mile, has towering iron shots that land softly, and can putt the ball as well as anyone. Where some of my other rankings come based on data analysis and pouring into the numbers, you almost don't even need to think about the numbers when it comes to Aberg. He just makes sense anywhere, so when he pulls the major championship-TGL double this year, don't be surprised.
1. Max Greyserman
My belief in Max Greyserman is very similar to the case that I made for Harry Hall at #4, but my feeling around Greyserman is slightly stronger than my feeling around Hall. Greyserman can drive the ball very well off the tee, performs relatively well in his approach game, and has been riding a hot streak with his putter going back to last March. I mentioned that Hideki has the best average strokes gained number out of anyone in the field this week, you know who comes in at #2? Max Greyserman. I think the second-year pro has a strong chance to break through for his maiden win this week.
