Top 10 contenders at the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship

10) Adam Scott

Scott's game seems to be rounding into form: he finished runner-up at the Scottish Open and followed with a T10 at The Open. In those two starts, Scott gained 5.92 strokes in total.

Scott has become a bit of an afterthought at this stage in his career, but with a T5 in 2022 at TPC Southwind, you cannot overlook the Aussie this week.

At 46th in the standings and in need of a big week, he could turn back the clock this week in Memphis.

9) Russell Henley

Ranked 14th in the FedEx Cup Standings and sixth by Data Golf, there is no player more underrated in golf circles than Russell Henley.

Perhaps that is because Henley is searching for his first win since 2022.

A Georgia Bulldog in every facet, his game is incredibly well-rounded -- he ranks 29th in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green. Combine that with a picturesque putting stroke, and it is easy to see why he has accumulated six top tens in 2024.

He is the leader of the 'accuracy-over-distance' mantra, which, for many players, has proved to be a winning formula at this venue. A T6 last year demonstrates that.
