Following a three-week hiatus, the LIV Tour is back in action this week as the circuit heads east for the first time in 2024 to Saudi Arabia for the LIV Golf Jeddah event.

LIV Jeddah will mark the first of consecutive events in back-to-back weeks for LIV with the Saudi-backed circuit making the trip to Hong Kong next.

LIV returns to Jeddah this week and Royal Greens Golf & Country Club for a third consecutive season, and after five-time major winner Brooks Koepka's dominance at this event in both 2022 and 2023, the event will be looking to either make history or crown a new champion this time around.

Koepka, a three-time winner on LIV, will aim to make history this weekend by becoming the first player on the LIV Tour to win the same event three times in a row. Koepka will head a strong field of contenders this week that includes, last year's Masters champion Jon Rahm, LIV Las Vegas champion Dustin Johnson, and Bryson DeChambeau to name a few.

The aforementioned Brooks Koepka headlines a stacked field of players who have made the trip to King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia, this week.

2024 LIV Mayakoba winner Joaquin Niemann and LIV Las Vegas winner Dustin Johnson return to action after their early wins to kick off the new season. While, Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, and Tyrrell Hatton are just several of the names who will be looking for their first win of the LIV season this week at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club.

Alongside some of the biggest names in the sport, this week's LIV Jeddah event will also see the highly-anticipated return of Anthony Kim who will make his first competitive start after over a decade's absence from the sport.

The field of 54 players will tee off at the same time as part of LIV Golf's Shotgun Start format. The action will begin on Friday and Saturday at 11:15 a.m. (local) - 3:15 a.m. (EST). Sunday's final round will get underway at 11:05 a.m. (local) - 3:05 a.m. (EST).

LIV Golf Jeddah format

LIV's Jeddah event will follow the normal format of all LIV events with three rounds of no-cut action across three days.

The field of 54 players consists of 13 four-man teams with two individual wildcard players. Anthony Kim will compete this week as one of the events' wildcards. Players will compete on an individual leaderboard and team leaderboard simultaneously with the top eight teams at the end of LIV Jeddah earning points.

The top three scores on each team will be counted during the first and second rounds while the final round will count all four players' scores.

LIV Golf Jeddah purse for 2024: Prize money and winner's share

The purse for the LIV Jeddah event is set at a whopping $25 million in 2024 with $20 million allocated to the individual purse and an additional $5 million to the events' team purse.

The winner of LIV Jeddah in 2024 will walk away with a cool $4 million in prize money while the overall winning team will earn an additional $3 million for their efforts in Saudi Arabia this week.
