Caitlin Clark broke records both on and off the court during her rookie season in the WNBA. The superstar became the all-time single-season leader in assists and rookie points and broke record after record in terms of viewership and attendance. Now as she enters the offseason, she looks to explore a new sport.

The phenom is set to tee off at the Annika driven by Gainbridge on Wednesday, November 13th. She will also be serving as a panelist at the Women's Leadership Summit the day before. This is the second tournament Clark will be a part of. She participated in the 2023 John Deere Classic Pro-Am playing alongside PGA Tour veteran Zach Johnson.

The Iowa native drew a large crowd at the 2023 Pro-Am event and should now help drive up the attendance at the Annika in November as well.

Since finishing her rookie season, which saw her lead the Indiana Fever to the postseason for the first time since 2016, the 22-year-old has expressed interest in trying her hand at golf. The LPGA seemed to leap at the chance to bring on arguably the most popular female athlete in the world.

“I love golf so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” said Clark about playing in the Pro-Am. “Gainbridge® is a leader in supporting women’s sports and that’s clear through their commitment to me and the event," she added.

Clark became an ambassador for Gainbridge last year during her collegiate career. The financial company also has women's sports pioneers, Billie Jean King and Annika Sorenstam serving as brand ambassadors.

"I have been following Caitlin’s career during college and now on the WNBA stage, and what she is doing to bring attention to women’s sports both on and off the court is outstanding," Annika Sorenstam said about the talented Clark.

Clark's team finished with a 5-under par tally at the John Deere Pro-Am in 2023. Due to her competitive nature, she is likely aiming to do even better at the Annika driven by Gainbridge next month.
