  • It’s hard to call the fourth-ranked golfer in the world a “sleeper”, but Day is an unknown golfer to many sports fans, and he has a legitimate chance to win his first career major.

In 14 events this season, Day has two PGA tour victories, and seven top-10 finishes. Only four golfers have more top-10 finishes this season. Day currently also ranks second in driving distance (311.5) and first in birdie average (4.67).

Even though Day is one of the hottest golfers in the PGA, he is relatively unknown to most sport fans. If he can continue his recent success, Day has a chance to make his name heard to fans even outside of golf.
