Arnold Palmer won 62 times on the PGA Tour, including 7 major championships. He’s often credited with influencing American players to participate in the Open championship. The tournament wasn’t as popular with players state-side because of the travel requirements and small purses.

Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer raises research funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. A prostate cancer survivor himself,  Palmer’s work with Centocor Ortho Biotech Inc. helped create My Prostate Cancer Roadmap. The service provides education, resources & information specific to advanced prostate cancer patients.
